Teflon wire insulation resins offer remarkable electrical stability
Teflon, TFE and FEP-fluorocarbon resins offer remarkable electrical stability over a wide range of frequency and environmental conditions. In this respect, they differ markedly from other insulating materials. The dielectric constant of TFE resins shows less change over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies than any other solid material. Its dielectric strength is high and does not vary with temperature and thermal aging.
